About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda and I've been a Registered Dietitian for 4 years specializing in providing impactful nutrition education and counseling to diverse populations, including but not limited to recreational & collegiate athletes, military personnel, individuals with disordered eating/eating disorders, women's health, and geriatric populations. My nutrition philosophy is rooted in the belief that food is an influential component in disease prevention, improving health outcomes, and optimizing performance and functionality while also acting as a fundamental aspect of one's life that ought to be an exciting and enjoyable experience. As a western society, we tend to separate these two goals, which often leads to extreme food rigidity or a lack of control. My goal is to integrate these two philosophies by providing each individual with the knowledge, tools, and skill set that allows them the flexibility and freedom to achieve their health, fitness & performance, and life goals all in one.

Approach to care

Nutrition can feel overwhelming and even daunting at times, especially in today's day and age where you are constantly bombarded with endless opinions and often misleading information. As your Registered Dietitian, my role is to support and guide you while building the skills you need to confidently cut through the noise, discover what truly works for you, and continue reaching your goals long after we've finished working together.

Your first session with Amanda

In order to achieve long-term, sustainable nutrition success, it is important that we build a strong foundation to work from. Therefore, my goal is to foster an open, inviting space where you feel heard and supported, so I can better tailor nutrition guidance that reflects your unique needs and helps you overcome personal barriers. Our first session will focus on developing those building blocks and gaining a deeper understanding of how I can provide the nutrition care that best meets your needs, preferences, and goals.
