About Amanda
With experience as a diabetic educator in an outpatient setting and in long-term care, I have worked with patients across various ages and nutrition-related disorders. I believe that holistic health approaches combined with evidenced based research are imperative for change. I focus on evaluating all aspects of my clients’ lifestyles- diet patterns, fluid intake, physical activity, sleep habits and stress levels. Meeting patients where they are at is essential, and I emphasize the importance of setting achievable, small goals at the end of each session to foster progress and motivation. I am dedicated to empowering my clients to make sustainable changes that enhance their overall well-being.
Approach to care
My approach to care is patient-centered and individualized. I base my recommendations off of evidenced based research and holistic health approaches.
