About Amanda
Amanda is a Registered Dietitian & Certified Lactation Counselor based out of Michigan. She has nutrition experiences working with all ages. Her career began working with adults in the hospital setting (inpatient & outpatient) where she helped pts with a variety of health conditions. Amanda has obtained extensive experiences working in pediatrics and pre and post natal nutrition - including: premature & full term infants, malnutrition and poor growth, starting solids, toddlers, picky eating, autism, tubefeeding & food allergies along with breastfeeding mothers. She is an expert in pediatric nutrition & passionate about women's/maternal, infant, child & adolescent health.

She focuses on a non-diet, weight inclusive approach to develop sustainable, long term wellness lifestyles. Amanda aspires to help her clients feel empowered to overcome obstacles by focusing on nutritional adequacy, medical conditions, along with developing eating practices focusing on positive relationships with food and their bodies.
Your first session with Amanda
Whether you are wanting to improve nutrition for yourself or your child, Amanda spends the first session getting to know patients in a comfortable & supportive environment. She believes setting a strong foundation is important to success in working together! We will review your short and long term goals, current struggles, medical history, any recent lab work, lifestyle factors, and typical eating patterns. We will work together to create a sustainable and realistic plan for success that is tailored for you! She will provide you with resources, recommendations, and additional support before your next session.
