About Amanda
My name is Amanda Lilleberg and I was born and raised in North Dakota. Growing up I was fascinated with how fueling your body can assist with performance activities and overall mental health which is why I became a registered dietitian. My experience has ranged from a small rural care center to a level I trauma center where I became a dietetic specialist. I've worked with heart health, oncology, diabetes, pediatric care and eating disorders to name a few. My enthusiasm to continue to grow in this line of work combined with my passion for helping people with their nutrition journey has me thrilled that I get to do this every day.
Approach to care
I enjoy creating a realistic nutrition plan based on the clients lifestyle, environment and basic knowledge of nutrition. I am a firm believer in meeting clients where they are in their nutrition journey to make tangible goals that work best for their life so it is not so overwhelming. Because lets be honest, the nutrition culture can be so misleading and I want to be a source where clients can receive evidence-based nutrition knowledge while providing an environment where clients feel comfortable to do so.
Your first session with Amanda
During the first session with me, you can expect a warm welcoming and encouragement for taking that first huge leap in your nutrition journey. I encourage providing details such as medical history, dietary habits, lifestyle and any other health concerns you might have. This will help me to understand your individualistic circumstances and best tailor the goals to you. I encourage an open conversation so feel free to ask questions, voice concerns, and share your thoughts throughout the session. Before concluding the session, we will outline some SMART goals so you leave with a clear understanding of what to do next.
