About Amanda

Hi, I'm Amanda! I'm a clinical dietitian with experience in bariatrics, GERD/acid reflux, gastroparesis, and a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. Over the years, I've learned that being an effective dietitian goes beyond clinical knowledge—it’s about truly connecting with patients. I strive to build strong relationships through active listening, clear communication, and a commitment to lifelong learning so I can better support each individual I work with. While I enjoy helping patients navigate a variety of nutrition-related concerns, my primary areas of focus currently are weight management, esophageal health, and GI conditions. I'm passionate about empowering people with practical, evidence-based guidance tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Approach to care

I believe that nutrition is deeply personal—there is no one-size-fits-all solution. What works for one person may not be right for another, and that’s why I prioritize collaboration in every step of the journey. Together, we will create a personalized plan that reflects your unique goals, preferences, and lifestyle. My focus is on building realistic and sustainable habits that support long-term health, rather than relying on quick fixes. Change takes time, and I’ll be with you throughout the process to ensure that the steps we take are both meaningful and manageable. This is about creating lasting, positive change—so you can feel your best for the long haul.

Your first session with Amanda

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and laying the foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about your goals, expectations, and what you’re hoping to get out of nutrition counseling. I’ll also ask about your daily routine, eating habits, medical history, and any other factors that might impact your nutrition and health. From there, we’ll work together to set realistic, achievable goals and start creating a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle. This is a judgment-free space, and the pace will always be guided by your comfort and readiness.
