About Amanda
Amanda is a licensed clinical dietitian with a special interest in disease prevention, GI health, and weight management, and a passion to help patients develop a positive relationship with food. Amanda’s clinical skills come from 10+ years of experience working both in the hospital setting and outpatient clinical setting. Primary skills include developing nutrition care/meal plans, interpreting nutrition-related lab values and addressing abnormal findings, collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team, and staying up-to-date on current nutrition research.
Approach to care
All foods can fit, balance and moderation are key. In the process of creating lifestyle change, focus is on what foods need to be incorporated and optimized versus removed.
