“I have been working with Amanda for nearly a year. My personal journey has come with ebb and flows. I appreciate Amanda's ongoing guidance and patience as we tackle new challenges, set new objectives and adjust to ongoing changes. I continue to learn from each meeting and enjoy the opportunity to understand more about health and nutrition and how to implement it into my lifestyle and family. Seeing the positive changes is rewarding; thank you for your continued support!“

“I’ve been working with Amanda for a while now, and I would highly recommend her. She listens to the reality of my life, answers all of my many questions, and takes an approach that really works for me. I feel really comfortable talking to her and confident that she knows what she’s talking about. She’s both honest and realistic, giving me goals I can reach and continue to help me. I feel better than I have in years. Highly recommend! “

“It's very easy to chat with Amanda about anything. She gets it; we're busy people with real lives, and she helps you work on life changes to improve our lives. She also knows the struggle is real, and always has the perfect advice to address your concerns. She provides the tools and the means, you just have to put the work in. “

About Amanda
Hi! My name is Amanda Otruba, and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in Pennsylvania with 13 years of experience. I began my career providing medical nutrition therapy in a hospital setting, but over the past several years, my focus has shifted to education and counseling. My passion lies in helping individuals build a healthy relationship with food, manage their weight, and create sustainable lifestyle habits. As a busy mom of two, I understand how hard it is to make time to focus on nutrition and yourself. I love to discuss meal planning, recipes, and building a healthy relationship with food. My goal is to help you to achieve your goals by fostering sustainable eating habits without a restrictive diet.
Approach to care
I take an individualized, client-centered approach to care with focus on a healthy lifestyle and intuitive eating. I don't believe there is a 'one size fits all' approach to nutrition and tailor sessions to each individual. We will talk through your past and current experience with food, movement, and overall health to set achievable goals without restrictive diets or giving up your favorite foods.
Your first session with Amanda
We will use your first session as a way to get to know each other. I'll ask you questions about your past and present experiences with diet and nutrition. We can also talk about your lifestyle, delving further into what your day to day life looks like and long term goals that you have. Together, we will develop a personalized nutrition plan that focuses on setting short term, achievable goals that will ultimately lead to fostering long term changes and improving your health.
