About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda and I have been a registered dietitian for over 12 years based out of Pennsylvania. I spent many years working in healthcare with a focus on medical nutrition therapy including oncology, kidney disease, heart health, and diabetes. In more recent years I have expanded on that knowledge and also shifted into lifestyle nutrition and weight management. As a busy mom of two, I understand how hard it is to make time to focus on nutrition and yourself. I love to discuss meal planning, recipes, and building a healthy relationship with food. My goal is to help you to achieve your goals by fostering sustainable eating habits without a restrictive diet.

Approach to care

I take an individualized, client-centered approach to care with focus on a healthy lifestyle and intuitive eating. I don't believe there is a 'one size fits all' approach to nutrition and tailor sessions to each individual. We will talk through your past and current experience with food, movement, and overall health to set achievable goals without restrictive diets or giving up your favorite foods.

Your first session with Amanda

We will use your first session as a way to get to know each other. I'll ask you questions about your past and present experiences with diet and nutrition. We can also talk about your lifestyle, delving further into what your day to day life looks like and long term goals that you have. Together, we will develop a personalized nutrition plan that focuses on setting short term, achievable goals that will ultimately lead to fostering long term changes and improving your health.
