Patient reviews
āAmanda is absolutely lovely to work with! She really brings a fresh perspective to nutrition that I have never recieved. Her methods donāt include fad diets or strict control over what to eat but provides a framework of macro standards and how to achieve it through natural whole foods. In addition to food, she has provided invaluable guidance on lifestyle (alcohol for me), sleep, and orher habit forming practices. I have gotten way more our of our seasions that I expected. Highly recommended! ā

āI have been working with Amanda for nearly a year. My personal journey has come with ebb and flows. I appreciate Amanda's ongoing guidance and patience as we tackle new challenges, set new objectives and adjust to ongoing changes. I continue to learn from each meeting and enjoy the opportunity to understand more about health and nutrition and how to implement it into my lifestyle and family. Seeing the positive changes is rewarding; thank you for your continued support!ā

āIāve been working with Amanda for a while now, and I would highly recommend her. She listens to the reality of my life, answers all of my many questions, and takes an approach that really works for me. I feel really comfortable talking to her and confident that she knows what sheās talking about. Sheās both honest and realistic, giving me goals I can reach and continue to help me. I feel better than I have in years. Highly recommend! ā

About Amanda
Hi! Iām Amanda Otruba, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in Pennsylvania with 14 years of experience. I started my career providing medical nutrition therapy in a hospital setting, but over the years my passion has evolved toward education and one-on-one counseling. I love helping people develop a healthy relationship with food, manage their weight, and build sustainable lifestyle habits. As a busy mom of two, I understand how challenging it can be to find time for nutrition and self-care. I enjoy discussing meal planning, sharing recipes, and supporting clients in creating balanced, realistic eating habitsāwithout restrictive diets. My goal is to empower you to reach your wellness goals through practical, sustainable changes. Approach to care
I take an individualized, client-centered approach that emphasizes a healthy lifestyle and intuitive eating. I donāt believe in a āone-size-fits-allā approach to nutritionāeach session is tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, weāll explore your experiences with food, movement, and overall wellness to create realistic, sustainable goalsāwithout restrictive diets or giving up the foods you love.
Your first session with Amanda
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. Iāll ask questions about your past and present experiences with food and nutrition, as well as your lifestyle and daily routines. Weāll also discuss your long-term goals and what you hope to achieve through our work together. From there, weāll create a personalized nutrition plan focused on realistic, short-term goals that build toward lasting, sustainable changes and improved overall health.
