About Amanda
Hi, I'm Amanda. I am an RD with 11 years of practice and I earned my MS in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Kentucky. My career has mainly been in Community Health, where I learned how nutrition fits into peopleās real lives and routines. Outside the clinic, youāll find me in the kitchen cooking, canning, or cheering on kids at games. I also hold LD as part of my credentials. Iām here to support you with warmth, curiosity, and a practical plan that fits your life.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends science with empathy. I rely on current evidence to guide our plan, and I meet you where you are with a warm, nonjudgmental approach. Together weāll set clear, doable steps and track progress in a way that respects Health At Every Size, focusing on behavior and well being rather than a number on the scale. I take a holistic view of you, addressing sleep, stress, meals, and everyday routines so lasting change feels possible.
Your first session with Amanda
Our first appointment is all about you. Weāll talk about your goals, your relationship with food, and whatās getting in the way in a judgment-free, low-pressure space. No need to have everything figured out in advance; weāll start with a couple of realistic goals and a practical meal plan you can test this week. Iāll walk beside you as we map out a plan that fits your life and preferences, so you leave with clarity, confidence, and a clear next step.
