About Amanda

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) that specializes in sports nutrition (especially runners), plant-based eating, and the intersection of the two. I am an avid runner and former division 1 cross country/ track athlete. I am also a former high school science teacher with a M.Ed in science education who changed careers to become a RDN. I also work as Certified Running Coach.

Approach to care

I am on a mission to show others that you can be successful in athletics and life fueled by plants. As a RDN, I find it rewarding to help people reach their own wellness goals. You are welcome to work with me if you aren’t plant-based or an athlete. I will never pressure you to go plant-based in session! I draw on my lived experiences as a competitive athlete, plant-based eater, and my professional expertise as a dietitian when helping you.

Your first session with Amanda

Your first session will be all about you! We will discuss your medical history, you current eating pattern and habits, your goals in your work with a dietitian, and anything else pertinent that you want to share. You can also ask me questions or share any concerns that you have. I'm excited to work with you!

Hobbies

Running, working out, reading, crafting, gaming, spending time with my husband, friends, and family, hanging out with my cat, and trying new plant-based restaurants.
