About Amber
I am Amber; Mom, college professor and your registered dietitian! With a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Human Performance, and a wealth of experience both in the classroom and counseling, I am passionate about helping you achieve your health and wellness goals. As a professor teaching Sports Nutrition and Medical Nutrition Therapy, I combine my deep knowledge with real-world experience to guide clients on their journey to better health.
Approach to care
I specialize in sports nutrition and women’s health, with a focus on prenatal, postnatal, and menopausal nutrition. My approach centers on helping women feel empowered and strong at every stage of life by making sustainable, science-based changes to nutrition and lifestyle. Whether you're looking to lose weight in a healthy, balanced way, manage chronic disease risk, or build a positive relationship with food and exercise, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to help you feel your absolute best, inside and out, while achieving long-term success in managing your health. Let’s work together to create a nutrition plan that supports your individual needs, enhances your performance, and boosts your overall well-being.
Your first session with Amber
Your first session will be a comprehensive and personalized experience designed to understand your unique health goals and needs. Together, we'll take a deep dive into your nutrition, lifestyle, and any concerns you may have about your body and food. Here's what you can expect: Initial Assessment where we review any medical history and labs. Food & Diet History: I’ll ask you about your typical eating patterns, meal timings, and any dietary restrictions or preferences. Exercise Status Food-Related Challenges & Body Image: We’ll discuss any food-related issues, such as emotional eating, digestive concerns, or body image challenges. Caloric Needs & Personalized Plan: I’ll calculate your caloric needs based on your goals and help you understand how to fuel your body appropriately. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clear understanding of where you stand regarding your health, and a tailored plan to start progressing toward your goals
