About Amie

Amie Wills, MS, RDN, LDN, CLT is a registered and licensed dietitian for over 19 years. She has helped numerous clients achieve their health goals, discovering different avenues of personal growth and satisfaction through food and nutrition. Amie completed her Master’s in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. While using an evidence-based whole-body approach, she combines her expertise in chronic disease, disease prevention, and behavioral change to optimize a client’s health outcomes while reaching their long-term goals. Amie’s focus is in Gut health, autoimmune diseases, and food sensitivities optimizing digestion and absorption to fuel the body with what it needs for wellness and thriving. She loves what she does, and her passion is palpable to all who meet her.

Approach to care

With nearly two decades as a Registered Dietitian, I embrace the Functional Medicine paradigm that views the body as an interconnected system where symptoms are signals of underlying imbalances and I'm committed to identifying and addressing their root causes-whether they stem from nutrient deficiencies, gut dysfunction, hormonal shifts, chronic inflammation, environmental exposures, or lifestyle factors-rather than merely managing disease manifestations through general dietary advice. Food is powerful medicine: I prioritize nutrient-dense, whole-food approaches tailored to each individual's unique needs. My practice is deeply personalized, evidence-based, and collaborative. I partner with clients as active participants in their healing journey, empowering them with knowledge, practical tools, and sustainable strategies. Ultimately, my goal is not quick fixes but lasting transformation.

Your first session with Amie

I will introduce myself and you will have an opportunity to introduce yourself. I will inquire about your nutrition goals and reasons for scheduling an appointment with me. In order to put all the puzzing pieces together correctly, I will ask many questions about your past and current diagnosis, medications, supplements, allergies, food sensitivities, digestive health, stress levels, current exercise regimen, stress levels, 1 day food recall and other questions to provide a better understanding of your needs. Before the end of the session, you will walk away with a few nutritional goals to move forward with before our next follow up session.
