About Amy
Hi, I'm Amy, a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Professional Practice in Dietetics. I bring experience across clinical and hospital settings, private practice, sports nutrition, and community health, which helps me tailor care to you wherever you are on your health journey. I practice with Health At Every Size principles, holistically and with warmth, and I love teaching people how to fuel their bodies while keeping things enjoyable. Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, and PC gaming with friends.
Approach to care
My care philosophy centers on evidence based practice, empathy, and partnership. I believe food is part of a larger story that includes sleep, stress, activity, and mood, and I aim to translate science into clear, doable steps. Together we focus on sustainable changes rather than quick fixes, honoring each person's unique needs in a weight neutral, HAES oriented approach. I strive to educate you so you feel confident making informed choices, and I walk with you every step of the way.
Your first session with Amy
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, establish short term goals, and look at any lab work or biometrics to understand where we start. This is a warm, low pressure conversation, not a test. You don't need to have it all figured out yet; we'll meet you where you are and shape a plan together. By the end, we'll set a couple of achievable goals and outline what our next steps look like so you feel supported and clear about the path ahead.
