About Amy
I'm a Health at Every Size (HAES) aligned Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a Master of Public Health from Cal-State University, San Marcos. I specialize in eating disorders, disordering eating habits, and diabetes. My philosophy of care is trauma-informed and grounded in compassion and individualized treatment to meet your unique needs. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, reading, and spending time around animals- especially my dog!
Approach to care
My care philosophy is aligned with Health at Every Size (HAES), and acknowledges the social and structural contexts that affect health. All bodies- regardless of size or weight are deserving of respectful, evidence-based care. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where we can address your health needs through an inclusive and weight-neutral framework. Together we'll translate current research into clear, practical steps that fit your life, with accountability and adjustments as we go.
Your first session with Amy
We'll take time to explore your relationship with food and review your medical history in a low-pressure conversation. I'll listen closely to your experiences, frustrations, and goals, and together we'll identify one or two realistic, personalized steps to try. Expect clear guidance, practical tools, and a collaborative plan we can adapt as you move forward.
