About Amy

Amy completed her Master’s degree in Nutrition and dietetic internship at Meredith College in 2017. Her experience as a dietitian spans clinical nutrition, weight management, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. She is currently pursuing her specialist certification in diabetes education and has a particular passion for helping patients understand their blood sugars. Amy loves teaching practical strategies for optimizing nutrition and getting the most out of continuous glucose monitors (CGMs). Outside of work, Amy enjoys gardening, picking up the weekly Costco haul, walking on the greenway, and spending time with her 4-year-old son.

Approach to care

Patients often tell me I have a “nudging, not judging” style—and that’s exactly what I aim for. I want to help you find simple, realistic ways to support your health every day. We’ll begin with small wins, focus on adding helpful habits, and gradually work toward larger goals without overwhelm.

Your first session with Amy

During our first session, we’ll start by talking about what brings you in and what you’re hoping to work on. I’ll walk through a typical day of eating with you to spot patterns and opportunities for support. From there, we’ll come up with a few practical steps you can begin right away and set meaningful goals for your next visit. I also make sure to leave time for us to talk and get to know each other—building a collaborative, comfortable relationship is important to me. Typical Working Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (EST), Monday–Friday
