About Amy

I’m a registered dietitian with over 25 years of experience helping individuals and families live healthier, more fulfilling lives. My approach is individualized and rooted in evidence‑based nutrition therapy, designed to meet you where you are and support your unique goals. I provide guidance for managing metabolic conditions such as insulin resistance, diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, as well as gastrointestinal concerns like celiac disease and liver disease. I also specialize in women’s health—including PCOS, peri‑menopause, menopause, breast cancer survivorship, and GLP‑1 use—as well as pediatric and adolescent weight management, and nutrition across the lifespan. As a mother with a busy family and career, and as a breast cancer survivor, I understand the real‑life challenges of maintaining healthy habits. I lead with listening and empathy, combining professional expertise with personal experience to help you build practical strategies for lasting health and wellness.

Approach to care

It is an honor to be a part of your health journey My approach to care is compassionate and empathetic, delivered in a knowledgeable, yet relatable way. I believe that every individual deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported in their health journey. By combining evidence‑based nutrition expertise with genuine empathy, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients can share their concerns openly. I focus on listening first, then tailoring practical strategies that align with each person’s unique needs, lifestyle, and goals. This collaborative approach empowers clients to take meaningful steps toward lasting wellness, while feeling confident and cared for throughout the process.

Your first session with Amy

During our first meeting, I’ll take time to get to know you, your health history, and your personal goals. I’ll ask about your current eating habits, lifestyle, and any medical concerns so I can understand the full picture. Together, we’ll identify your priorities and begin creating a personalized nutrition plan that feels realistic and sustainable. You’ll leave the session with practical strategies you can start using right away, and a roadmap for how we’ll work together to support your long‑term health and wellness.
