About Amy

I am a Registered Dietitian with 11 years of experience and a deep passion for the power of nutrition. I believe that the daily choices we make profoundly shape how we feel—mentally, physically, and emotionally. That belief began at age 12, when I noticed how dramatically my energy and performance at swim practice changed depending on what I ate - the drastic difference in my performance if I fueled with a pop-tart versus a balanced, high protein breakfast sparked what would become a lifelong passion: recognizing that nutrition is truly medicine. My clinical background includes evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for diabetes care, autoimmune conditions, chronic condition management and weight loss. I also have an expertise in supporting mental health conditions like ADHD and anxiety with nutrition therapy– yes the power of food can help manage these conditions!

Approach to care

My approach is warm, holistic, and rooted in evidence based care. I look at the whole person and meet you where you in your wellbeing journey, focusing on small, realistic and sustainable changes for long-term success. I support general wellbeing, chronic conditions, weight loss, GLP-1 optimization and symptom management, autoimmune conditions, diabetes, and more. I strive to help clients recognize the power of nutrition and feel confident making realistic, lasting changes.

Your first session with Amy

Our first session is all about getting to know one another. We’ll take time to discuss your health history, lifestyle, goals, challenges, and what’s bringing you to nutrition counseling right now. This is a judgment-free space where you can share what’s working, what feels overwhelming, and what you’d like to change. Together, we’ll explore how your current nutrition, routines, stress, sleep, movement, and mindset are impacting how you feel—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I take a whole-person, evidence-based approach and meet you exactly where you are, recognizing that no two people (or seasons of life) are the same. By the end of our session, we’ll identify a few realistic, sustainable next steps tailored specifically to you. You’ll leave with clarity, practical guidance, and a plan that feels doable—not restrictive—so you can start building habits that support your health, confidence, and long-term success.

Education

Bachelor's in Applied Health Science, Dietetics Master's in Business Administration

Hobbies

Beyond my professional experience, I’m also a mom of two young boys (ages 2 and 4), which gives me firsthand appreciation for the realities of busy family life. I stay active with regular workouts and getting outside whenever possible and I love cooking and baking for my family—because food is not only medicine, but it’s also love.
