About Amy
Hello! I am Amy Lancaster and I have 26 years of experience in both acute and long term care settings, which gives me a deep understanding of how nutrition impacts every stage of health and healing. Born and raised in Texas, I have had the pleasure of working with a wide range of people, cultures and socioeconomic diversity. I have 15 years acute experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center where I worked with a wide variety of nutrition related concerns. I spent more than a decade working with their cardiac therapy program, served on transplant committees, collaborated when bariatric surgery became more prevalent and served on numerous interdisciplinary teams. When I transitioned to long term care I was able to work first hand with doctors and nurses, especially during COVID, to provide optimal care for our residents and their families.
Approach to care
My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration and personalization because I don't think one size fits all when it comes to our health plans. Whether you’re managing a medical condition, recovering from surgery, or simply wanting to feel better in your body, I’m here to support you with practical, evidence-based guidance.
Your first session with Amy
Every person is unique, and I take the time to listen to your story, understand your goals and tailor recommendations that work for your lifestyle. Together, we'll build a plan that nourishes both your body and your confidence. The more we get to know each other the more I can customize your nutrition plan to fit your needs and your lifestyle.
