  • β€œAmy is so kind, genuine, and non-judgmental. She’s helped me feel less anxiety and guilt about the foods I like, dislike, or even have psychological issues with. I truly feel I can be honest about my feelings with my nutrition and ask questions on how to get better. She is a great resource who can guide me and hold me accountable when necessary, and has also been a joy to talk to!β€œ

About Amy

Hi, I am Amy. I bring 26 years as a Registered Dietitian, with experience across clinical and hospital settings, private practice, and long-term care facilities. I earned my MS from Stephen F Austin State University and hold credentials including RD, RDN, LD, and LDN. Based in Tyler, Texas, I enjoy spending time with animals, reading a good book, and exploring true crime, concerts, comics, and dogs. I am grateful to walk this nutrition journey with you, at your pace and in your own voice.

Approach to care

Together we'll approach nutrition with an evidence-based, holistic mindset. I am empathetic and warm, yet direct about practical steps you can take. I favor sustainable habits and long term change over quick fixes, honoring your values and life. I practice with Health At Every Size (HAES) principles, focusing on behavior and well being, not chasing a number. We'll explore what matters most to you and build a plan that feels doable and true to you.

Your first session with Amy

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history and labs or biometrics, dive into your relationship with food, and establish short-term goals. We'll also start crafting a personalized meal plan you can actually follow, and discuss what we need to learn from any lab results. There's no pressure to have it all figured out beforehand; we will meet you where you are and take the next small step together.
