Patient reviews
“Amy is so kind, genuine, and non-judgmental. She’s helped me feel less anxiety and guilt about the foods I like, dislike, or even have psychological issues with. I truly feel I can be honest about my feelings with my nutrition and ask questions on how to get better. She is a great resource who can guide me and hold me accountable when necessary, and has also been a joy to talk to!“

“I am really enjoying working with amy! She is helping with a realistic approach to improving my nutrition. Its also refreshing when you can be honest and not feel judged and I haven’t felt like I should hide anything from her. I feel supported and like she is actually getting to know me instead of being a check mark on a list of patients to see. I highly recommend her! “

About Amy
Hello there! I’m Amy Moon Lancaster, and I’ve been in the healthcare industry for 26 years, both in acute and long-term care settings. This experience has given me a great understanding of how nutrition affects people at different stages of their health and healing journey. I was born and raised in Texas, and I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse group of people, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds. For 15 years, I worked at a Level 1 Trauma Center, where I addressed various nutrition-related concerns. I spent over a decade working on their cardiac therapy program, served on transplant committees, collaborated when bariatric surgery became more common, and participated in numerous interdisciplinary teams. When I moved to long-term care, I had the opportunity to work closely with doctors and nurses, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, to provide the best care possible for our residents and their families.
Approach to care
My approach to care is being very REAL. I don't want to just give you a meal plan and a few handouts and wish you the best. I want to work with you towards creating and achieving your goals. Let's be real, nobody needs more lectures, lets make this a team effort and collaborate together on what works best for you and your lifestyle today!
Your first session with Amy
I am a quirky neuro-spicy gal! I keep it light and get to know you and what makes you unique. I take the time to listen to your story, understand your goals and tailor recommendations that work for your lifestyle. Together, we'll build a plan that nourishes both your body and your confidence. The more we get to know each other the more I can customize your nutrition plan to fit your needs and your lifestyle.
