About Amy

Hi! I’m Amy Lawson, MS, RD, LDN—a registered dietitian, military spouse, and mom to three energetic boys who believes good nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated or boring. I hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Dietetics and Human Nutrition from Kansas State University and a master’s in Dietetics from the University of Central Arkansas. I love to cook, hike, and talk all things food and nutrition. I’ve worked with clients of all ages and stages, helping them build confidence and clarity in their food choices. Whether it’s simple meal prep, navigating busy seasons, or learning how to listen to your body, my goal is to make healthy eating approachable, sustainable, and yes—even enjoyable. If you’re ready to ditch dieting and find a flexible, balanced way to thrive, you’re in the right place.

Approach to care

You deserve nutrition support that’s all about you—no guilt, no one-size-fits-all plans, and zero pressure to be perfect. I focus on evidence-based guidance that fits your life, your preferences, and your goals. Together, we’ll build habits that boost your energy, improve your mood, and help you feel more at ease with food—so you can truly thrive. I combine nutrition science with practical tools—like flexible meal planning and simple cooking tips—to help you feel confident and less overwhelmed by conflicting advice. Eating well should feel good and make your life easier, not harder. That’s the kind of care I’m here to offer.

Your first session with Amy

Our first session is all about getting the full picture—so we can build a plan that works for you. We’ll talk through your goals, health history, lifestyle, and any challenges you’re facing with food or nutrition. If you have recent lab work, we’ll review it together to help connect the dots between what’s happening in your body and how you’re feeling day to day. We’ll also walk through a 24-hour food recall so I can understand your eating patterns, preferences, and routines—no judgment, just good info to guide our next steps. I use nutrition science, clinical insight, and real-life strategy to help you feel more energized, supported, and in control of your health. You’ll leave with a personalized plan that blends evidence-based recommendations with doable changes. No crash diets. No one-size-fits-all solutions. Just thoughtful, expert support designed to help you feel your best.
