About Amy

Hi, I’m Amy. I’m a Registered Dietitian with 27 years of experience in healthcare and an MS in Nutrition. I’ve spent most of my career in clinical and renal settings, where I’ve learned that food is about people, stories, and everyday life as much as nutrients. I carry the RDN credential and LDN certification into every session, and I continue learning alongside my patients as we navigate real world choices together. When I’m not working, you’ll find me reading, hiking, trying new recipes, or spending time with friends. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support you with warmth, clarity, and respect.

Approach to care

I believe care should be evidence-based and person-centered, combining current science with your daily life. Together, we'll translate research into practical steps that fit your routines and priorities. I bring an empathetic and warm presence, meeting you where you are and guiding you with clear, actionable strategies. My approach is weight-neutral and HAES-informed, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. We explore the whole person, including sleep, stress, and relationships with food, so you can build a healthy lifestyle that fits you. I empower you with knowledge, so you can make informed decisions that last.

Your first session with Amy

Our first session is all about you. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, dive into your relationship with food, and establish short term goals that fit your life. You don't need to have it all figured out before we meet; this is a collaborative conversation where your experiences guide the plan. We'll talk about what's been working, what hasn't, and how we can make small, sustainable changes together. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of the next steps and a couple of goals to start with.
