About Amy
Hi, I’m Amy, a Registered Dietitian with 25 years of experience. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Western Kentucky University and have spent my career in community health and long-term care. I practice with CDCES, CLC, RDN, and LD credentials, weaving science with compassion in every visit. Having my husband and son live with diabetes fuels my passion for helping people manage nutrition with confidence and ease. When I’m not working, you'll find me in the kitchen, cheering on my daughter on the volleyball court, or lost in a good book.
Approach to care
My care is evidence-based, empathetic, and educational. We'll approach nutrition as a collaborative partnership, turning science into practical steps that fit your life. I honor Health at Every Size principles and a holistic view that considers sleep, stress, and relationships, not just calories. My goal is sustainable change through clear, actionable plans and ongoing support, so you feel informed, capable, and hopeful as you build healthier habits that last.
Your first session with Amy
Think of our first visit as a friendly conversation about you. We'll review your medical history, labs, and biometrics, and take a deeper look at your relationship with food. No pressure to have everything figured out already. We'll establish short-term goals and begin crafting a personalized meal plan that's practical and enjoyable. You can expect a warm, judgment-free space where your questions are welcomed and your preferences guide our plan together.
