About Amy
I have been a licensed dietitian since 2021. I went to New York University for my graduate degree in Clinical Nutrition beginning in 2017, and completed my internship with Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. Prior to joining Nourish, I worked in a private practice as well as a eating disorder treatment center.
Approach to care
I have always believed that food can change our lives for the better if we make good and informed decisions, however, the information that we get about nutrition through the media can be extremely misleading. I hope to cut through the noise and teach my patients about how to live healthier lives by equipping them with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions, such as how to read a food label (believe it or not, many people have a very hard time with this!)
Your first session with Amy
Expect to get to know me, like I hope to get to know you! I find that a relationship is stronger in the long run if you feel comfortable with me. The first session will really be used to find out everything about you so that we can come up with a great plan to meet your goals, but it is always important to start our session by simply chatting and getting to know each other on a personal level.
