About Amy

Amy has been a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist for over 17 years. She has worked with a wide range of patients and clients from pre-term newborns to teens to middle aged men and women, to the elderly. She has in-depth clinical experience in supporting individuals who are battling or have survived cancer and other medical challenges to re-claim optimal health and well-being. She also enjoys empowering the "average person" facing the challenges of modern life to define and move toward their personal vision of ideal health and wellness. In her personal life, Amy strives to "walk the walk" by modeling self-care to her 5 children.

Approach to care

Amy believes in a personalized, client-driven approach. She utilizes her unique training in positive psychology coaching principles to empower clients to leverage their strengths to achieve their goals. She teaches her clients to understand the physical and psychological reasons behind their current health behavior patterns. We feel happy when we live in alignment with our core values. Amy will work with you to gradually bring your current patterns into alignment with your values and goals. She will challenge you be compassionate and accountable to yourself. Clients say that Amy is empathetic, warm, inspiring, and uplifting.

Your first session with Amy

Everyone has a story. Today you get to turn the page and write the next chapter. In your first session, you will evaluate where you've been with your (whole) health, your current level of satisfaction across various components of wellness, and where you would like to go as you envision the rest of your life. We will begin to tap into your deepest motivation for change. How do you want to feel? What do you want your health for? Perhaps you have been focused on career or family at the sacrifice of your health. Or emotional trauma has resulted in coping strategies that no longer serve you...we will reflect on what you have gained and learned from these experiences to help you to move forward.
