About Anastasia
I am an evidence-based, patient-centered dietitian committed to supporting your health with compassion and integrity. My practice is rooted in a weight-inclusive, Health at Every Size® (HAES®) approach, which means I focus on sustainable, health-promoting behaviors and symptom management rather than weight loss goals. I take a whole-person perspective, considering your physical health, social environment, cultural background, and lived experiences.
Approach to care
I have a special interest in supporting patients with gastrointestinal conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), celiac disease, chronic constipation or diarrhea, diverticulitis, motility disorders (slow or rapid GI transit, megacolon), bloating, pain with eating, pancreatic insufficiency, liver disease, and challenges related to GI surgeries (including short bowel syndrome, ostomies, or strictures). I also work with individuals managing blood sugar concerns such as type 2 diabetes, athletes seeking nutrition strategies for performance and recovery, and people who have had bariatric surgery and want guidance with eating strategies to support their health. My goal is to work together to build skills and provide tools that help you feel confident in your ability to manage symptoms, maintain your health, and live a lifestyle that feels both healthy and sustainable for the long term.
Your first session with Anastasia
In our first session, I’ll ask questions about your health history, symptoms, eating patterns, routines, and goals. This conversation helps me understand what’s important to you and where you’re seeking support. My priority is to meet you where you are, identify what feels most helpful, and begin building a working relationship rooted in trust, compassion, and curiosity.
