About Andrea
I am a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in addition to being a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, with over 25 years experience in food and nutrition. I am also a busy working mom of 3 and understand not everyone has hours to spend in the kitchen. I am well versed in meal planning for all age groups and kitchen experience levels. For the last 7 years I have worked in an Outpatient Oncology center helping patients navigate the ins and outs of dietary needs caused by their disease state. I am experienced in nutrition counseling for diabetes, cardiovascular disease, GI distress, weight loss, weight gain and many other conditions.
Approach to care
I believe in an approach to nutrition that incorporates balance, variety and moderation. I take an individualized approach to your care, considering your health history, goals, and more, to tailor care specifically to you. Together, we create a a realistic plan with sustainable and actionable items to help you meet your overall nutrition and wellness goals.
Your first session with Andrea
The first session is really a time to learn all about you! This is just the beginning of our work together and in this first session my main goal is to ensure I learn as much as I can about you to provide the best support and care for you on your journey to improve your health. By the end of the first session, we will have a road map of where we are heading that will include both short term and long-term goals, as well as specific action steps between sessions.
