About Andrea
Hi, I’m Andrea. I’m a Registered Dietitian with 18 years of experience. I earned my BS in Nutrition from Bastyr University (Kenmore, WA) and completed my RDN at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. My hobbies include cooking, yoga, reading, camping, gardening and the beach. I’m here to help you build a relationship with food that fits your life, values, and pace.
Approach to care
Collaboration is my default. I ground my practice in evidence-based nutrition science while listening with empathy, so you feel seen and supported. I’m direct and action oriented, translating guidance into clear steps you can start this week. I work from a health at every size mindset, focusing on sustainable habits rather than restrictive diets. My approach is holistic and educational, empowering you to understand your body and make informed choices you can maintain long term.
Your first session with Andrea
Our first session is a conversation about you. We’ll review your medical history, lab work, and biometrics as available, and we’ll establish short-term goals that feel doable. We’ll also talk through what you’re hoping to change and what support you need. No judgment, no pressure, just a collaborative planning session. You don’t need to have everything figured out yet; together we’ll clarify priorities and set a couple of actionable steps to start.
