About Andrea
Hi, I’m Andrea Guidry — a Registered Dietitian who believes that health is the foundation for a meaningful, fulfilling life. When we feel nourished and grounded, we’re able to show up as our best selves in every role we play: as friends, siblings, teammates, partners, and community members. I’m passionate about helping people experience that ripple effect of wellness in their own lives. I’m especially passionate about helping people reconnect with the joy in eating — and in life. I love exploring new recipes, advocating for community wellness, and spending time outdoors, all of which inspire the balanced approach I bring to my work.
Approach to care
My counseling style is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in truly understanding what you’re going through. I use a mix of practical nutrition guidance, behavior-change strategies, and supportive coaching to help you build habits that feel realistic and empowering — never overwhelming or restrictive. Whether you’re navigating changes in appetite, working toward a more balanced relationship with food, or aiming to support your energy, metabolism, or long-term health, I meet you exactly where you are. Before joining Nourish, I worked with a wide range of individuals in both one-on-one counseling and specialized nutrition programs. I’ve supported patients through weight management journeys, metabolic challenges, changes in body composition, and medication-related nutrition needs. In every setting, my goal has remained the same: create a safe, encouraging space where patients feel heard, understood, and capable of meaningful progress.
Your first session with Andrea
In our initial visit, we’ll talk through your health history, daily habits, and what you’re hoping to achieve so I can get a clear picture of your needs. Together, we’ll a personalized plan and set 1–3 realistic, actionable goals to focus on before we meet again. My aim is for you to leave feeling supported, motivated, and confident — never stressed or restricted.
