About Andrea
Hi, I'm Andrea. I bring a decade of experience as a Registered Dietitian, with a foundation in Nutrition Sciences and Dietetic Internship from Idaho Sate University. I’ve worked across clinical hospital settings, private practice, and community health, helping people build sustainable weight loss and navigate bariatric nutrition. I’m grateful to connect with clients who care about long-term change, and in my spare time you’ll find me kayaking, hiking, traveling, or cheering at my kids’ events. I’m an RDN LD, and I love turning science into practical guidance you can use at home.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends science and humanity. I base guidance on evidence-based practices and tailor it to you in a warm, nonjudgmental space. We'll collaborate to translate nutrition science into practical daily habits that fit your life, goals, and values. I practice with a weight-neutral HAES-inspired lens and focus on sustainable behavior change over quick fixes. My approach also integrates education so you leave with understanding, confidence, and emotional resilience as you navigate nutrition and well-being, including GLP-1 considerations when appropriate.
Your first session with Andrea
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review medical history and dive into your relationship with food, while keeping the tone warm and non-pressuring. You don't need to have it all figured out yet; together we'll set 1 to 3 short-term goals that feel manageable. I want you to feel seen and supported, and I’ll explain what you can expect from our time together so you leave with clarity and a sense of partnership as we begin this journey toward lasting change.
