About Andrea

Hi, I'm Andrea, a Registered Dietitian based in White Plains NY. As a working mother of a teenage daughter, I understand the chaos of life, the need for balanced workable solutions to health and self-care, and the need for moderation in everything. I am very lucky to have experienced working in many areas of nutrition. This includes hospital inpatient work, counseling patients with eating disorders in an outpatient setting using both my nutrition and counseling degrees, and teaching pre-school age children how to cook and try healthy foods. Over the years I have developed joy in helping people at all ages try new things and feel empowered to be able to take care of themselves in a new way.

Approach to care

With over 2 decades of experience as a Registered Dietician, I have many areas of nutrition that I am qualified to provide support in. No matter the focus, I approach every client with an open mind, ready to meet you where you are in your health journey. I am eager to create the most balanced appropriate plan for us to help you attain your goals. I understand the challenges of a busy life and strive to make our work manageable, realistic and low stress. Every change should feel sustainable for the long term. Meaningful change should support your life and not overwhelm it.

Your first session with Andrea

Our first session will be spent getting to know one another and understanding what you would like to work on. We will do this by discussing your day-to-day life, relevant medical history, current challenges, and goals, along with anything else you feel is important to share. The more I understand you, the more I can be of help to you. Sessions will last 55 minutes. Many clients find it helpful to come prepared with a list of questions or discussion topics they would like to cover so we can make the most of our time together.
