About Andrea
After earning my BS in Nutrition & Medical Dietetics at the University of Illinois Medical Center, I practiced in clinical hospital care, community health centers, colleges/universities and the pharmaceutical industry. I know how to translate complex medical guidance into realistic plans. I bring my RD (registered dietitian) training, CDCES (diabetes certification), and LDN (licensure) to every patient interaction, combining science with practical problem solving. I'm excited to meet new people and use my experience to help them lead healthier lives. Based in Chicagoland, I recharge with arts and crafts and nature walks.
Approach to care
We'll use science-based guidelines to develop your care plan with clear, actionable steps. Our work is focused on the whole person, including mental and lifestyle factors. I aim to educate and empower you, while offering direct, action-oriented strategies and gentle accountability so we can build lasting habits together.
Your first session with Andrea
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have. We'll talk about your routines, what has helped and what has not, and how your goals fit into your everyday life. Together we'll establish one or two short-term, achievable goals so you leave with a clear next step. You do not need to have everything figured out beforehand. My goal is to make this feel manageable and supportive as we begin working together.
