About Andrew
Seven years as a Registered Dietitian working in hospitals, community health settings, and private practice clinics have earned me a wealth of practical knowledge, but the most important thing I offer my clients is a caring relationship filled with empathy, trust, and wisdom. By recharging myself with passions like music, art, gaming, and quality time with my family and pets, I can bring compassion and warmth to every session.
Approach to care
I use evidence-based guidance centered on weight-inclusive and Intuitive Eating principles, which focus on creating sustainable improvements to your quality of life. We'll emphasize variety and flexibility in your eating habits rather than rigid diets, so that you never have to feel deprived of joy and satisfaction from your food. You'll learn why listening to the natural signals from your body to guide your food and exercise choices is critical to your health and fulfillment
Your first session with Andrew
Expect a relaxed, conversational session focused on building personal connection and background info. We'll cover your daily routines, your history and relationship with food, what barriers are getting in the way of making lasting change, and what motivates you to become the best version of yourself. By the end, we'll identify one or two small, achievable goals to try, so you leave with confidence, clarity, and the reassurance that progress is the key - not perfection.
