About Andrew
Hi im Andrew, I grew up in a small south eastern town in Kentucky, and from there I went on to attend the University of Kentucky (GO CATS). After I got my bachelors in dietetics I matched to a distance internship in Kentucky with Sodexo. I got my RD in 2021 and from there I moved to Brunswick GA, a small coastal town where I worked in acute care. Shortly after GA I ended up at the University of Iowa where I was a surgical oncology dietitian for 2.5 years. Now I reside in Houston Texas where I work as a MICU and TICU dietitian. When I started at University of Iowa I was a relief dietitian so I got to broaden my experience and prior to taking my oncology role I worked as an outpatient bariatric dietitian and other areas so I got to see and practice in all areas in critical care and outpatient care.
Approach to care
My approach to care is person centered care, I want to see what your goals are and help you achieve them. I know everyone has different schedules and life styles I want to help make your nutrition goals achievable no matter your schedule or life style or schedule.
Your first session with Andrew
In our first session you can expect us get to know each other, and mostly seeing what your goals are and setting one smaller goal between the first session and next session. Overall I want to know your schedule and so we can make realistic steps towards achieving your nutrition goals.
