About Andrew

I am a Registered Dietitian (RD), hold a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Certified as a Functional Training Specialist and Health Coach. I became interested in nutrition and learning how to eat better after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 10. I am a father of two young kids and understand how family dynamics and varying food preferences affect your ability to make changes. I take a “from the ground up” approach with all of my clients, based on you as an individual. I want to help teach you how to eat healthier, identify and breakdown barriers and find a new level of enjoyment to life with food and improving your health. Together we will create a plan that is focused on creating sustainability to achieve your goals.

Approach to care

I highly value sustainability to diet and lifestyle changes. I am not here to waste your time, finding what works for you, for the long term is my ultimate goal. I always ask for your input and feed back, nothing I recommend is a MUST. If you do not feel like it is appropriate for you, I am happy to change things until you feel like it is right for you.

Your first session with Andrew

We'll get to know each other, your goals, barriers and life in general. We'll start focusing in on key areas that I identify are the most appropriate to change and then over time build up from there. I try to meet you where you are at, so if creating a meal plan is what you desire initially, great! If you would rather make small, but meaningful change to your current food intake initially, that's great as well! At the end of the first session you can expect a clear set of actionable changes to work on, which I will help keep you accountable with.
