About Angela
Hi, I’m Angela. With eight years as a Registered Dietitian and an MS in Nutrition & Health Promotion from Simmons University, I’ve built my practice dedicated to helping people build sustainable habits around nutrition, movement, stress, and sleep that fit their lives. I create personalized strategies to support weight management and metabolic health, while helping you feel confident in your body and your relationship with food. Outside of work I love exploring food in all its forms—from teas and tacos to agua frescas and antipasti—and I spend my free time cycling through the hill country, volunteering at my church, or celebrating my Latin American roots. I’m glad you’re here.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence-based, science-focused guidance with empathetic support. I believe in meeting you where you are and following a direct, action-oriented approach that translates science into doable steps. I practice with a Health At Every Size lens, focusing on behaviors, health outcomes, and sustainable habits rather than a number on the scale. I view health holistically, honoring your mental, emotional, and physical well-being, and I strive to educate you so you feel confident making choices long after our sessions end. Together, we’ll build a personalized plan that fits your life and values, empowering lasting change.
Your first session with Angela
Our first appointment is all about you. We’ll review lab work and biometrics, medical history, and dive into your relationship with food in a safe, non-judgmental space. I’ll guide the conversation with clear questions and practical prompts, but this is a collaboration. We’ll talk about what’s worked and what hasn’t, and we’ll set 1–2 realistic starter goals shaped by your schedule and preferences. You don’t need to have it all figured out; just come as you are, and we’ll take the next steps together with warmth and support.
