About Angela
Hi, I'm Angela, a Registered Dietitian with 20 years of experience. I earned my Masters in Public Health Nutrition from Loma Linda University, and I have had the privilege of working in hospital and community settings in rural Alaska and corporate wellness in Rochester, NY. I love hiking, cross-country skiing, cycling, cooking, gardening, and exploring new places, and I bring that same adventure to our work together. I aim to be warm, practical, and thoughtful as we translate nutrition science into real life.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence-based science with empathetic partnership. I take a direct and action-oriented approach with your full participation, offering clear steps, small experiments, and accountability that fits your schedule. I practice with a Health at Every Size (HAES) mindset and a holistic lens, looking at sleep, stress, movement, and food together, not as isolated pieces. You deserve information, support, and a plan that respects your values and teaches you how to sustain changes.
Your first session with Angela
Our first appointment is a conversation about you. We'll review your medical history, discuss your goals, and look at lab work/biometrics in the context of your everyday life. No pressure, no judgment, just a collaborative process where we establish short-term goals you can actually reach. We'll talk about what's realistic in the coming weeks and how we'll measure progress. You don't need to have everything figured out yet; come as you are, and we'll build a plan together that fits your routine.
