About Angela
Food, soil and nature have been constant teachers for me! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and have spent 35 years working as a Registered, Licensed Dietitian across clinical, private practice, and community health settings. I help people set up practical systems around food so the right choice becomes the easy choice. When I'm not seeing patients, you'll find me hiking, backpacking, canoeing, tending my garden and soil, or spending time with my dog.
Approach to care
Evidence guides the steps we take, and compassion guides how we take them. I blend science-based recommendations with a whole-person perspective, looking at sleep, stress, movement, relationships, and daily routines alongside food. We work in a weight-neutral, non-judgmental way, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. I'll give clear, action-oriented strategies and the education you need, and together we'll build systems that fit your life and last.
Your first session with Angela
Expect a relaxed, conversational visit where we'll review your medical history, look over lab work or biometrics if available, and talk about what you'd like to change. We'll set short-term, manageable goals together so you leave with practical next steps, not pressure. You don't need to have everything figured out beforehand. My role is to listen, translate the science into doable actions, and help you create systems that make healthier choices easier over time.
