About Angela

Hi there! My name is Angie and I can't wait to meet you on-line. I am a Registered Dietitian and have completed the CDR Certificate of Training in Obesity for Pediatrics and Adults. I have worked in hospitals, dialysis clinics, and rehab settings. I am passionate about helping others. I am very knowledgeable in renal disease including AKI, Acute kidney injury, CKD, chronic kidney disease, and techniques to delay kidney failure. I also love working with those who are trying to lose weight, take control of their diabetes, and manage their GI challenges or dealing with cancer. I am a 12 year breast cancer survivor.

Approach to care

I approach each session meeting you where you are in your journey for better health. I do not have a preconceived goal for you. We will set reasonable goals together that you feel good about. I am easy going and love to meet new people. I will tailor your preferences into whatever meal plans we create.

Your first session with Angela

During our first session, we will get to know each other. It's a lot easier to talk to someone you know a bit about! I will also gather some background info including what you have tried in the past, what you like, and what you don't like. We will review your lab work, your lifestyle, and usual eating patterns so that I can create meal plans that will work for you.
