About Angie
A large portion of my work involves working with athletes and addressing sports performance. Moreover, I am deeply committed to providing specialized and effective care for individuals navigating eating disorders. To further enhance my expertise, I am actively pursuing my Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) Certification. This dedicated path involves rigorous training and supervision, ensuring I stay at the forefront of evidence-based practices. I consistently engage in ongoing education and professional development in the field of eating disorders to offer you the most comprehensive and compassionate support. My practice is an affirming and safe space for all individuals, including the LGBTQIA+ community. I am committed to providing patient-centered and inclusive nutrition care that respects your unique identity and needs. All people and all bodies are welcome here.
Approach to care
I believe in providing highly individualized, whole-person care. My approach is rooted in understanding the unique factors that influence health—genetics, lifestyle, and environment—while also addressing the deeper root causes of disease. I often integrate both functional and traditional lab testing alongside evidence-based therapeutic nutrition strategies to guide care. I view health through a holistic lens, supporting not only the body but also the mind and spirit. For some, food is straightforward; for others, it carries deep personal, cultural, or emotional meaning. Through compassionate nutrition counseling, I help clients navigate these complexities, explore and shift limiting beliefs, and make sustainable behavior changes. My goal is to empower each person with the knowledge and tools to fuel their full potential through nourishing food and balanced choices.
Your first session with Angie
Your first nutrition session is all about you! We’ll begin by discussing your health history, current lifestyle, eating patterns, and any symptoms or concerns you’d like to address. I’ll take time to listen and understand not only your goals but also the challenges you may face. Together, we’ll start to identify root causes and areas of focus, often using both traditional and functional approaches to guide care. You can expect a collaborative conversation—not a lecture. I’ll provide initial insights and recommendations tailored to your needs, and together we’ll outline a personalized plan that feels realistic and achievable. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical steps toward better health.
