About Angie

Hi, I'm Angie. I've been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years. I love helping individuals develop an enjoyable and sustainable way of eating that can help with reaching overall health and wellness goals. I'm also a group fitness instructor who is a big proponent of finding movement options that you enjoy and that improve your quality of life. My current passion is helping women in their 40s and beyond navigate perimenopause and menopause while feeling the best they can during this challenging season of life. I love food, so don't worry, I'm not here to take your favorite foods away. My list of favorites include coffee, chocolate, spicy marinara, and anything with lots of garlic!

Approach to care

My approach to care is personalized to your goals. You'll find that I'm non-judgmental, caring, and understanding of the fact that behavior change is not easy. I love to focus on long term strategies that are sustainable over time. We'll also spend time each session acknowledging that you are deserving of self-care and acceptance. Know that, in addition to any other commitments you have, YOU deserve a spot on your priority list. I'll be there to help you cultivate an environment that makes behavior change simple instead of hard. We'll also focus on "identity goals" - "who do I want to become?". My job is to help guide you toward becoming the best version of YOU.

Your first session with Angie

Our first session is all about you. Tell me what you've tried in the past- your successes and your challenges. I'll want to hear about your daily routines, your sleep, your stress level, and your commitments-work, family, etc. We'll start with small, realistic behavior change goals. Be prepared to be committed to the process - we'll work together for an extended period of time, so let's make sure its a good fit. I want you to leave each session with a clear plan and I'll be there to support you all along the way.
