About Anita
Balancing evidence and the realities of daily life guided me into nutrition. I hold an MS in Nutrition from the University of Illinois and have spent three years practicing as an RD and licensed dietitian across clinical hospital settings and private practice. I love translating science into doable steps, and outside work you’ll find me hiking, gardening, cooking new recipes, or reading. I’m passionate about helping clients build lasting habits that fit their lives, not quick fixes.
Approach to care
Evidence matters, and so does compassion. I combine the best current research with a warm, judgment-free space so we can uncover what’s realistic for you. I take a direct, action-oriented stance, giving clear, practical steps while honoring the whole person, including mental and emotional well-being. I practice from a weight-neutral, Health at Every Size perspective, educating and empowering you so together we build sustainable habits that last.
Your first session with Anita
Come as you are, you don’t need to have everything figured out. We’ll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have, then do a deep dive into your relationship with food to understand patterns, wins, and barriers. Together we’ll set short-term, achievable goals and leave with clear next steps. The visit is low-pressure and collaborative, and I’ll meet you where you are so we can move forward at a pace that feels right.
