About Ann

Hello, I've been a registered dietitian for 25 years. I am active with the National Kidney Foundation and work with clients that have kidney disease and want to prevent further damage to their kidneys. I have taught Diabetes classes and understand the challenges of the disease. I am also a Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner for the last 5 years and have a passion to help those with Fibromyalgia or auto-immune disease since I myself was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I live part-time at the Jersey Shore and the other time near Philadelphia and enjoy cooking and teaching. I believe food is medicine and we can heal with the right food and lifestyle choices.

Approach to care

My approach to care is to work as a team. I will give you 100% and want the same from you. I believe in baby steps and that a few good changes can lead to results. I believe in setting realistic goals. I will work with you to achieve those goals and assist you when faced with challenges. Together we can work to achieve your goals to become a healthier you.

Your first session with Ann

On our first meeting, I would like to hear all about you. Bring your medical information, lab work, medications, and any supplements you may be taking. I want to hear about your weight history and what nutrition goals you want to achieve. I will ask you about your food choices, what a typical day of your meals looks like, questions about your lifestyle and sleeping patterns. We will set realistic goals and together we can come up with recommendations that will assist you in achieving your goals.
