About Anna
Hi, I’m Anna, a registered dietitian (RDN, LDN) and certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES) based in Brooklyn. I specialize in weight loss, weight gain, and chronic disease management, including diabetes. I earned my nutrition degree from the University of Minnesota and completed my dietetic internship at the University of Maryland. Over the past four years, I’ve worked in nutrition education, counseling, and behavior change, helping thousands of clients build sustainable habits and reach their health goals. My approach focuses on translating evidence-based nutrition into realistic, personalized plans that fit your life. I believe lasting change comes from small, consistent steps and not perfection. Outside of work, you’ll find me grabbing a coffee and walking around the neighborhood, trying new recipes, reading, or taking a Solidcore class.
Approach to care
Lasting change comes from clear, science-backed steps and compassion for where you are right now. I use current research to guide practical, measurable strategies, while honoring Health At Every Size principles so we focus on behaviors and well-being rather than restriction. Together we'll break down goals into manageable actions, learn the why behind recommendations, and make adjustments that fit your schedule and values. You'll leave feeling informed, supported, and able to take the next sustainable step.
Your first session with Anna
When we meet for the first time, we’ll take time to review your medical history and explore your relationship with food—without judgment or pressure. You can expect a thorough yet conversational session where we discuss what’s worked, what hasn’t, and identify realistic next steps that fit your life. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming in. However, what can be helpful is being able to provide a typical and honest day of eating, any updated labwork, or questions you may have . By the end of our visit, you’ll leave with a clear, confident plan to start moving toward your goals.
