About Anna
Hi, my name is Anna and I've been a registered dietitian for a little over 10 years. I'm so glad you're here! A little about me: I grew up on a farm in Iowa, surrounded by hogs, cattle, corn and soybeans. We always had a huge garden and many fruits trees where we spent all summer canning - this is where my passion for food and health first started. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including: grocery stores, sports nutrition, correctional facilities, outpatient counseling, pediatrics and gastrointestinal nutrition. No matter the setting, my favorite part of being a dietitian is getting to know my patients, hearing their stories, and helping them make a meaningful changes that fit their lifestyle. I believe nutrition should feel realistic, supportive and tailored to you- and I'm excited to help you take next steps towards your goals!

I believe that nutrition is deeply personal- there's no one - size -fits- all solution. My approach is all about meeting you where you are and building a plan that fits into your life, not around it. I focus on creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can work together to set realist goals that feel achievable and meaningful to you. I prioritize changes that you see doing in the future not just a quick fix. I'm here to help you build a healthy relationship with food- one that supports your physical health, gut health, emotional well-being and lifestyle. Whether you're managing GI issues, striving for more energy during a workout or just wanting to feel your best, I'm committed to being a partner in your journey, providing guidance, encouragement, and easy strategies every step of the way.
Your first session with Anna
In your first session, my goal is to get to know you- not just your health goals, but your lifestyle, preferences, and challenges too. I'll ask about your healthy history, your typically eating habits, your lifestyle, and what goals you have in mind. This isn't about perfection - it's about learning what works for you. Together, we'll create a personalized plan that fits naturally into your life, not one that flips it upside down. You can expect a relaxed, supportive space where you can ask any questions and share openly. My goals is for you to leave our session feeling heard, encouraged and excited about the steps ahead. I'm here to help you build healthy habits that feel realistic, flexible, and truly sustainable for you life.

When I'm not working, you can usually find me out running (I love training for half and full marathons), digging in the garden, cooking up a new recipes in the kitchen, or trying a new restaurant in town. I have a big sweet tooth- desserts are my favorite - and I love ending the day curled up with a good book. Staying active, enjoying great food, and making time to relax (after kids bedtimes of course) are all the things I value and love sharing with others!
