About Anna
Anna is a Registered Dietitian based in North Carolina. She earned her Masters Degree in Kinesiology & Nutrition from Miami University (OH) and a Bachelors in Nutrition from Minnesota State University, where she played collegiate soccer. Anna has seen how good health and nutrition can greatly impact longevity, mental health, daily energy, and overall well-being. She is passionate about fostering optimal health and wellness through evidence-based nutrition education to help her clients reach their goals. Anna strives to help everyone wake up feeling their best. Anna particularly enjoys counseling on body composition change, gut health, exercise nutrition, & healthy aging.
Approach to care
Anna believes that everyone is doing the best they can with the information that they have. As dietitians, it is our role to educate and share practical information to help others understand what food and nutrients they need in order to thrive and heal their bodies. Anna looks at each person on an individual basis and acknowledges that everyone has a unique story. Her goal is to understand someone's behaviors and motivations to help them gain awareness and the nutritional knowledge to create long-term change. She loves educating how to make eating simple, enjoyable & tasty to accomplish goals and optimize health. She teaches & supports small changes over time that lead to lasting results.
Your first session with Anna
During your first session, I want to know what YOUR goals are, what things you've tried in the past, what you like and what you don't like. We will go through your health history, what typical eating looks like for you, food preferences, and more about you as a person (daily schedule, sleep, movement/exercise routine, stressors, etc.). This will help me provide customized nutrition recommendations and plans that are tailored to your specific needs. We will build on this first session to create a foundation to implement change gradually over time.

Hobbies
I love anything movement related! Running, pickleball, hiking, the gym, playing with my Boston Terrier, Franklin & as a self proclaimed foodie, I love cooking and experimenting with recipes. An ideal day for me includes exercise, sunshine, good food, and quality time with loved ones!
