About Anna
Hi—I’m Anna, and I would love the opportunity to be your dietitian! I graduated from the University of Alabama’s Master’s in Human Nutrition program and entered the field of dietetics with a passion for nutrition and its role in managing and preventing chronic disease. My interest in nutrition began as an adolescent, after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I quickly learned that while I couldn’t control the disease itself or how my body responded to medications, I could control what I chose to fuel and nourish my body with. This experience (and everything in between!) shaped my approach to working with patients: I focus on what matters most to you and work with you to create practical, personalized nutrition strategies that help you feel your best—inside and out.
Approach to care
My approach is fairly simple: I focus on what matters most to you and tailor a plan to help you reach and maintain your goals. I believe every body is unique, and nutrition advice should reflect that—there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. You are in the driver’s seat, and I’m here to provide guidance, support, and strategies that fit your life.
Your first session with Anna
During our first session, I’ll get to know you, your health history, and your lifestyle so I can provide the most personalized support. We’ll discuss your medical history, any food allergies or intolerances, current eating habits, physical activity, and other factors that affect your health. This session is also your chance to ask questions and share your goals, preferences, and concerns. Together, we’ll use this information to create a plan that fits your life and provides guidance for the next steps on your nutrition journey!
