About Anne
Hello! My name is Annie, and I am a Registered Dietitian experienced in long-lasting behavior change and habit building. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia and attended Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!), where I played Division I tennis. I discovered my passion for nutrition in college, where I experienced firsthand how building a healthy relationship with food can positively transform your life. I strive to help my clients build habits that support their goals while maintaining flexibility and balance along the way. I currently reside back in Northern Virginia with my husband. When I’m not working with clients, I love to play tennis, go on long runs or bike rides, spend time with my family, or experiment with new recipes in the kitchen. I am excited to meet you and get started on transforming your goals!
Approach to care
I believe that good nutrition and movement should enhance your life—not complicate it. My approach focuses on creating realistic, sustainable habits that align with each client’s lifestyle, goals, and personal preferences. I understand that everyone’s journey is unique, so I take the time to get to know each person (their routines, preferences, and challenges) to create a plan that truly fits. My care is grounded in education, compassion, and balance, with an emphasis on progress over perfection. I focus on flexibility, mindfulness, and practical strategies that can be maintained long-term. My goal is to empower clients with the knowledge and confidence to make choices that support both their physical and mental well-being.
Your first session with Anne
In our first session, you can expect a comfortable, open conversation where we’ll focus on you—your goals, lifestyle, and what matters most to you. I’ll take the time to learn about your health background, daily routines, and food preferences so we can create a plan that feels realistic and sustainable. Together, we’ll identify clear, achievable goals and map out simple strategies that fit naturally into your everyday life. My goal is for you to leave our session feeling supported, encouraged, and confident about your next steps toward a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.
