About Anne Marie
I’ve always been fascinated by the way food can support our health, which made choosing Nutrition Science at Oregon State University an easy decision. My early work in community gardens deepened my belief that nutrition starts where we live and eat. That passion led me back to school to become a Registered Dietitian, and later to earn a Master of Science in Health Promotion from Mississippi State University. Over the years, I’ve taught adult cooking classes and led nutrition programs for people of all ages and backgrounds. Through it all, my mission has stayed the same: to help people make healthy choices feel natural and doable in their everyday lives. I believe good health starts in the kitchen, but it doesn’t require fancy recipes or perfect habits. Although not everyone cooks, everyone eats, and I want to help make that part of life more nourishing and enjoyable.
Approach to care
There’s a lot of noise out there when it comes to nutrition, especially on social media. With so many “rules” about what’s right or wrong to eat, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or discouraged. I believe that nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective, and that healing your relationship with food is just as important as what’s on your plate. My approach is rooted in partnership, not perfection. I work collaboratively with each client to build a plan that is personalized, flexible, and sustainable. Whether you’re managing a health condition, trying to boost your energy, or simply looking to feel better in your body, I’ll meet you where you are with compassion and evidence-based guidance. Together, we’ll work toward a way of eating that helps you feel your best.
Your first session with Anne Marie
Our first session is all about getting to know you—your goals, your health history, your current habits, and your relationship with food. We’ll take a comprehensive look at where you are today so that we can chart a path forward that feels right for you. You’ll find a supportive, judgment-free space where your voice matters and your experiences are honored. From there, we’ll create a personalized plan that reflects your unique needs and priorities. Each session will build on the last, with tools, resources, and encouragement designed to help you make meaningful changes at your own pace. You will leave with a clear path forward and a partner who is here to help you every step of the way.
