About Annie
Hi, I'm Annie. I'm a dietitian passionate about helping people transform their lives through food. While I believe food can act as a form of medicine, it is so much more than that. I have seen firsthand how all encompassing one's relationship with food can be, and hope to support others in building one that fits their lifestyle, goals, and values. Whether youâre managing a diagnosis or untangling a tricky relationship with food, Iâm here to guide you with compassion.
Approach to care
I hope to approach care in a way that supports all aspects of who you are, not just your specific nutrition goals. Through integrating education and evidence-based practice with your lived experience, we will explore barriers, set goals, and make changes that feel meaningful and realistic for you. I practice using a weight-neutral lens and believe strongly in leaving guilt and shame out of eating. My aim is to build a safe, judgment-free space where you can openly share your challenges so we can set goals that genuinely motivate you. Iâll work with you to create a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle, budget, tastes, and cultural background. This space is welcoming to all, and I proudly affirm and support the LGBTQ+ community.
Your first session with Annie
Our first session is really just a chance for me to get to know youâyour goals, your relationship with food, and what youâre hoping to get out of this work. From there, weâll start to figure out a direction that feels right for you. Iâm not here to throw a bunch of rules at you. My goal is to understand how I can best support you, so you leave with some helpful insight, a few tools you can actually use, and a clearer idea of where you want to go next.
