Patient reviews

  • Annie is amazing!! Before we met I was feeling lost, confused, and concerned about my health. She taught me a LOT about nutrition, food, and how to make adjustments to my lifestyle without pushing myself to extremes. Annie has an "additive" philosophy and celebrates accomplishments, no matter the size! She was extremely kind and listened to me from the start. She also shows a lot of grace and understanding with new things. I feel empowered about my health because of working with Annie.

  • Annie is kind, thoughtful, and funny. She really listens and cares about the “why” behind my eating behaviors. She is very knowledgeable and has great suggestions for MY goals. She is also very patient in helping undo a lot of erroneous nutritional information that I’ve picked up from diet culture. For the first time in my life, I can care about my nutrition without beating myself up or giving up all together!

  • Annie was knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant, and help assuage the trepidation I had about talking to a dietitian.

About Annie

I look at health in a holistic, balanced way. I believe understanding our relationship with food and our bodies is foundational to making long-lasting lifestyle changes. I am passionate about diabetes care, breaking the cycle of yo-yo dieting, overall health and well-being, and physical activity. I have an advanced certification in diabetes education and care and I enjoy helping people navigate the often difficult world of diabetes.

Approach to care

My approach to care combines empathy and accountability because being a great dietitian requires both. I am adamant about meeting you where you are to find solutions that work best for you. I help combine science-based information in a way that is individualized to meet your specific lifestyle and preferences. I may be the expert in nutrition, but you are the expert in your life. You should be at the forefront of your care. I am here to guide you to make the best informed decisions about your health and lifestyle.

Your first session with Annie

In our first session, expect me to ask a lot of questions! I want to get to know you and what your overall health goals are.
