Patient reviews
“Annie is kind, thoughtful, and funny. She really listens and cares about the “why” behind my eating behaviors. She is very knowledgeable and has great suggestions for MY goals. She is also very patient in helping undo a lot of erroneous nutritional information that I’ve picked up from diet culture. For the first time in my life, I can care about my nutrition without beating myself up or giving up all together!“

“Annie was knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant, and help assuage the trepidation I had about talking to a dietitian.“
“Annie is great! Super thoughtful, helpful, very much interested in providing information and helping work that information into ways that work with my lifestyle“
About Annie
I have worked in the nutrition field for close to a decade now, but nutrition has always been a core value in my life. I love food, I love physical activity, and I love helping people combine all of these things in an individualized, realistic way that makes them feel good! I look at health in a holistic, balanced way. I believe understanding our relationship with food and our bodies is foundational to making long-lasting lifestyle changes. I am interested in overall health and well-being, physical activity, and breaking the cycle of yo-yo dieting. I am also passionate about diabetes care. I have an advanced certification in this field and help people with diabetes navigate the often difficult pathway of diabetes management.
Approach to care
My approach to care combines empathy and accountability because being a great dietitian requires both. I am adamant about meeting you where you are to find solutions that work best for you. I help combine science-based information in a way that is individualized to meet your specific lifestyle and preferences. I may be the expert in nutrition, but you are the expert in your life. You should be at the forefront of your care. I am here to guide you to make the best informed decisions about your health and lifestyle.
Your first session with Annie
In our first session, expect me to ask a lot of questions! I want to get to know you and what your overall goals are for your health and life. Expect to be listened to and understood, as well as set some goals to help track progress and keep you accountable. I also think food should be fun, so expect to laugh and be comfortable!
