About Annie
I am dedicated to fostering sustainable, compassionate, and evidence-based approaches to nutrition. My food philosophy is “all foods fit,” and I empower clients to build healthier relationships with food while prioritizing both physical and mental well-being. I bring experience in clinical, mental health, and athletic settings, guiding patients toward holistic practices that emphasize intuitive eating, mindfulness, and sustainable lifestyle change. My background includes working with adolescents and adults in PHP and IOP levels of care for eating disorders, as well as providing enteral and parenteral nutrition, sports nutrition for collegiate athletes, and community-based wellness programs. I characterize my practice as compassionate and collaborative, integrating medical nutrition therapy, psychology, and behavior-change principles to support healing and growth. I am credentialed in Obesity Management and Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) for Pediatrics and Adults.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition care is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. I view nutrition as both healing and self-care—an opportunity to reconnect with food in a way that honors the body’s needs and supports overall well-being. I believe food is nourishment, connection, and enjoyment. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel safe exploring their relationship with food. I integrate medical nutrition therapy with behavioral and psychological principles, recognizing that true healing happens when physical and emotional health are addressed together. Collaboration is central to my approach. I work closely with physicians, therapists, and families to ensure consistent, effective care that helps individuals build trust with their bodies, find confidence in their choices, and experience food as both nourishing and empowering.
Your first session with Annie
In our first session, patients can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment focused on understanding their unique relationship with food and health. I begin by learning about your medical history, nutrition patterns, goals, and daily routines to develop a complete picture of your needs. Together, we discuss your experiences, challenges, and motivations around eating without focusing on restriction or weight. My goal is to meet you where you are and create a realistic, compassionate plan that supports both physical and emotional well-being. We’ll identify initial goals and small, sustainable steps toward healing. Whether you’re recovering from an eating disorder, managing a medical condition, or seeking more balance, you’ll leave the session with a sense of clarity, direction, and support — and a plan tailored to your needs and values.
