About Annie
I have been a dietitian for over 14 years and am passionate about helping people explore and heal their relationship with food. I work with clients who are interested in overcoming food and body image challenges in a way that aligns with their values. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and love talking about how Intuitive Eating can be incorporated into your life. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Eating Disorder Coalition of Iowa, and the Behavioral Health Dietetic Practice Group. She currently serves on the Feed Iowa First Board of Directors, a non-profit committed to fighting food insecurity.
Approach to care
This is a judgement-free zone! Many people have experienced weight bias, especially from healthcare professionals. I believe that all bodies are good bodies, and subscribe to the Health at Every Size approach. You can be confident that you will receive compassionate, tailored care without the focus on weight.
